The Danish court has determined that Lund Trading was in material breach of its exclusive distribution contract and that its termination on January 25, 2011 was justified and lawful.

Steeped in tradition, Trollbeads are the inspiration of three generations of artisans from the Nielsen/Aagaard families in Denmark. Trollbeads United States and parent company Lise Aagaard Copenhagen have claimed victory in their year-long legal battle with Lund Trading over who controls the line’s U.S. distribution. According to a statement issued by Aagaard, a Danish court has determined that Trollbeads’ termination of its contract with Lund Trading on Jan. 25, 2011, was lawful. For over 30 years Trollbeads has been gaining in recognition but ever since it was brought to the U.S. by Morten Petersen the line has skyrocketed in popularity.
